POTW: Tremont Falls in Autumn

Tremont Falls

This week’s Picture of the Week is again from the Great Smoky Mountain National park.  Holly and I went up to the Tremont Institute several weeks ago to look around at the colors and shot up the falls while we were there.  This particular falls is quickly becoming one of my favorite falls in the park, as you’ll rarely share it with anyone and it is fairly picturesque.

Awesome picture Dan. How hard is it to get to that falls? It reminded me of Cherohala Falls.

Peter, it isn’t that bad of a hike although there is some elevation gain to the trail. I believe it is right at, or just under a mile.
